Me and my Coco
I've never considered myself an artist and I still don't. Yet, I have been compelled at times to take what I am given and create.
I have been well educated and traveled -- my creativity flows in many directions. I cook, design houses and furniture, sew, landscape and have run several major companies.
My mother influenced me with her cooking. “Learn to taste through your nose” she would tell me. Smell the spices and learn what goes with what meat or fish. Everything was from scratch from her kitchen and now mine.
My father, a simple blue collar worker, was an artist in his own right. He had prize winning camellias in the California State Fair for years in a row. He perfected the art of bonsai and won many awards throughout the Sacramento area.
I was lucky enough to have had a long term relationship that exposed me to much of the world. It made me see the endless possibilities that one could have.
Enjoy my work, let go and see what I see.
